Grape variety: 100% SangioveseThe vivid ruby colour leads to the fresh bouquet of violets and woodland berries. On the palate the wine is smooth and refreshing with loads of ripe plum and blackberry. Full-bodied with moderate tannins and hints of black cherries and cassis.

Grape variety: SangioveseThe grapes for this classic Chianti are selected and are then matured in Slavonian oak casks for 10-18 months. Intense ruby red colour with a persistent bouquet of fresh, red fruits and violet aromas and lightly oaked, fruity flavours with good body and structure. The perfect choice for all traditional Italian foods such as pizzas, spaghettis and red meats.

Grape variety: 100% Primitivo di Manduria.Aged in oak for 12 months. Ruby red with garnet reflections.generous nose of plums and ripe fruits. Velvety      texture, dry, spicy and full-bodied.


  • Barolo Flori, Araldica, 2008, Piemonte, Italy
Grape variety: 100% NebbioloPreviously this wine was awarded a Decanter Gold Medal. A beautifully supple, finely structured entry-level Barolo.’Flori’ has all the tell-tale Barolo characteristics with tobacco, leather and violet scented aromas from the Nebbiolo. Tannins are firm and pleasingly supported with plump fruit and a round silky texture, giving a good lengthy finish.

Grape variety: 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% MourvedreFrom the superb 2010 vintage this wine offers a rich, opulent range of flavours including black cherries and blackcurrants. From Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre, it has great complexity and a beautiful balance.

Grape variety: 80% Sangiovese and 20% MerlotRefined in small French casks for 7 months. Dark red purple hues, it has an elegant bouquet with light reminiscences of wood, violet and raspberry. On the palate is round, long and enveloping.

  • Amarone Della Valpolicella, Ca’Rugate, Italy, 2006, DOC
Grape variety: 40% Corvina, 30% Rondinella, 30% Corvinone.Hand- picked during the last two weeks of September, the grapes are allowed to dry gently in well-ventilated rooms for around 4-5 months, concentrating their flavours, sweetness and colour. Intense garnet red in colour.  Concentrated aromas of ripe blueberries, blackberries and cherries are enhanced with a hint of spicy oak.
